Israel at war and conflict in the Middle East

The events which have unfolded over the weekend are extremely troubling. In Israel, drones and ballistic missiles have caused death and destruction, and once again forced families to take cover. The trauma and suffering across the Middle East continues, and our thoughts are with our friends, family and community.

Our long-standing partner, the Israel Trauma Coalition, with whom we have worked closely since October 7th, moved into emergency response mode immediately. They are currently supporting hundreds of evacuees with psychological first aid and operating emergency hotlines to help people cope with heightened anxiety, stress and trauma.

At a time of immense fear, instability and uncertainty across Israel and the Middle East, we are monitoring the situation closely. As we approach Purim tonight – the Jewish festival rooted in survival and resilience in the face of adversity – we hope for brighter days ahead..
